Qigong is a moving meditation and mind-body wellness practice which is a combination of movement, posture, breathing, and awareness.
This course is an introduction to Qigong. Easier to learn than the more complex Tai Chi forms, Qigong (or Chi Kung) combines working with the energy of the body, the mind, and the breath in support of your bodies own natural tendency towards inner and outer health and harmony. The Healer Within. The slow, gentle movements are all designed to be comfortable for your body and are low in impact. In fact Qigong is one of the most natural and enjoyable ways known to reduce stress levels, improve posture and balance and restore the harmony of body, mind and spirit.
Maximum of 8 people.
Fridays 11.00 – 12.00 am starting April 17th for 6 weeks.
